The sketch for this weeks challenge is:

My first card is using Elly framed from Dilly Beans, i used promarkers to colour the image and milled lavender distress inks to match the papers i used from wild rose studio - Antique Library paper pack.

I added a few flowers to the corner of the card and some small punched butterfly's.

My second card was made using Pepper for prom from Beansie Doodles, i used promarkers to colour Pepper in and my silhouette portrait to cut out the age, and i flipped the sketch over for this card.

Just popping on to add some pictures of some cards that i have made recently, i had 3 wedding cards to make and so i used the same format for all of them as i really struggle when i do commissioned cards and i feel pressurized to make them the best i can.

I had a few card orders from people who saw these cards so all good!

And....
2 Cute Ink
Prize to be arranged

I really struggle with Christmas cards so when i looked through the wonderful choices that Delicious Doodles had to offer i thought it would be a great opportunity to make a start on Christmas cards! (I have to admit that i have made a small start on Christmas presents already!).

I printed the image out in a blue tone, and i used a stamp for the sentiment using Memento Teal Zeal to keep in with the blue tones.

Challenge 13 Crafting from the heart - Anything Goes/Easter Theme

The challenge this week at Crafting From The Heart  has the optional theme of Easter, but Anything goes too as we just love to see your creations.

The sponsors for this week are:

Offering a prize of 4 Digi Images
Offering a Prize of 3 digi Images

I used the image - Micky the Trapeze Monkey from Doodle Garden, as soon as i saw the image i just had to make the monkey literally 'swing.  I made the frame up as i went along! I used some cut out leaves to try and make it look like a thick forest.

The card is for my little neice who is soon turning 2 and i just wanted her to have a card that she could play with!

I coloured up the little monkey and paper pieced it loads.  I wasn't sure if it looked ok for a girl so i added soem purple to the card and a flourish with some lilac flowers and gems.

I hope she likes it and that she is allowed to play with it a little (not sure how much dribbling it will stand up too!).

She no longer resembles a lion head as she has pulled all of her hair out to keep her imaginary babies warm!
