Long time no blog!!!

I have not been on my blog for a while but i have not stopped crafting, just had lots going on! Started helping at the local Rainbows (the 5-7 year olds) version of brownies and guides.  I am now taking my leadership qualifications and plan to start running my own unit, with my best friend Paula Dunn!

So anyways here are some pics of the cards that i have been making:

This one was made using a freebie image from Dustin Pikem the rest was card and paper stock in my stash, i added a cute little pic inside too!

This card was for the same boy but from his Auntie!:

This cheeky monkey only came with 1 candle on his cake, so i added another one as the intended recipient was 2! I used layers, stickles and glossy accents to decorate.

Again i added a cute little monkey inside, i have just realised that the monkey inside only has 1 candle as it was the digi pic i printed, i hope the 2 year old doesn't notice!

This next card is one i made for my sister in law, i love her loads and i liked how graceful the image looked, just made me think of Tracey.  The image is Chantelle at the races and it is available from Make it Crafty.

I love my Pro-markers!!!!!!!

Mothers day with hand made flowers

T
This card was made using a lily of the valley image, coloured with promarkers die cut and layed onto a basic card with layers, i used a butterfly punch which i then covered with hand made roses, the sentiment is a generous freebie from Nettie.  I also punched some small butterflys and coloured them with 2 promarker coloursm and then glittered them! I went a bit over board with the butterflys on this one!!!

Lily of the valley mothers day card with a teddy!

This card took me an age to do!! I hand made the flowers and just the flowers alone took me an evening to do.  I used my hougie board to make a simple stepper card and used delicate pastel colours on the layers and combined this with a lily of the valley card that i had free on a magazine which i coloured with promarkers in pastel colours.  The sentiment is one of Nettys free sentiments that she has generously given as a freebie.  I made a card for this card to go onto with the sentiment die cut to the outside of the box with some flowers added.

Sketch Saturday - 13 year old birthday!

I l;loved the sketch that sketch saturday have done for this week, i was even inspired to get my sewing machine out for the image at long last.  I have been tempted for so long but always been put off by the amount of effort to get my very heavy sewing machine out with all of the threads etc.  I hope you think it was worth it and i hope that the recipient of the card likes it too.  I made the card to send to a friend who has done me some huge favours for work and got me and my company out of some sticky situations so as  a kind deed i said i would do a card from her and hubby to her daughter.

The image is from make it crafty, and i layered and stitched with stock papers that i have had for a while.  Image coloured with promarkers, papermania glitter brads, stickles around the edges.... after all you can never have enough bling on a 13 year old girls birthday card can you?!

Thank you for looking and for your commetns, it really does mean a lot to me!!!

Zoe Excited!

I bought this digi image 'Zoe Excited' for this card and i love her!!!! She was  such fun to colour, i coloured her with pro-markers.  The papers were old papers from my stock pile (it is called Paper Pizazz Birthday' i layered her up using a sketch from sketch saturday they have the best sketch's and i am always looking on there for inspiration.

I made the sentiment myself and went round the edge with stickles.
