Nursery picture

I was asked by my sister in law if i could make a poem onto a card that would fit into a frame as  a goodbye present to the nursery that her daughter has been attending.

The whole thing took me quite a while to make, however looking at it now it seems so simple and understated.

I did take some progress shots of all of the layering that i did and close ups but cannot find which camera i took them on now!

Thanks for looking

8 years old today!!

Well it has been a long week, day off work tomorow but still really busy.  Couldn't resist putting a picture of my 2 daughters on here with one of her Saturated Canary image cards (i will post the other one tomorrow - there is a sneak peak on the second picture):

Here is a pic of the  sprayed and sprinkled giant cup cake birthday cake that Aimee had asked for!

Queenie & Princess - Saturated Canary

OMG! My daughters going to be 8!

For this card i used the image queenie-and-princess from Saturated Canary, as i just love Kirsta's images as soon as i saw this image i bought it for my daughters birthday which is now next week!!!

I am so unprepared!!!

I have layered the image up and i am really disapointed at the pictures as the card looks so much better in real life...... well it did until my 6 yr old daughter who i made the card for decided to write her sisters and her name onto the fab card i had made.  I nearly had heart failure when she wrote on it (especially when she started writing her name above the image of her sister) i but it was her card to give to her sister so i took a deep breath and moved on.

I have 2 daughters, one blond and one brown haired and i coloured the picture with promarkers in thier favourite colour, trying to mirror thier colouring.

I used glossy accents for the eyes and sglitter around the edge of the card.  I attached a big sister charm which i am sure my daughter will be pulling off and attaching to a coloured thread.

I am going to enter this card into the saturated canary challenge which has a theme of 'Bling'.

Thanks for looking!
